At Rose Press Farm, our rose bushes are more than plants — they’re an essential part of the farm’s heart and daily life. With over 70 thriving rosebushes spread across our farm, each petal carries a story of care, creativity, and charm. We harvest their blooms for floral arrangements, use them in décor and goods, and feature them throughout our website and storytelling. Each rose reflects the care and creativity that defines our farm, adding beauty and meaning to everything we do.
At Rose Press Farm, our greenhouse is the heart of all our planting and growing activities — the soul of the farm where every green dream begins. Whether we’re nurturing heirloom vegetables, cottage flowers, or fragrant herbs, this space pulses with intention and life. The greenhouse provides conditions for us to grow tropical fruits such as mango and kiwi as well as being an ideal place for starting seedlings. It’s more than just a structure — it’s our botanical studio, planning room, and sanctuary. Each tray of soil is a canvas, each sprout a spark. Every bloom and harvest across the farm is rooted in this bright, breathing core of Rose Press Farm.
Welcome to the orchard at Rose Press Farm — a sun-kissed haven where more than 50 fruit trees quietly shape the rhythm of our seasons. Apples, peaches, plums, apricots, pears, persimmons, mulberries, pluots, apriums, cherries, avocados, figs, pineapple quinces, guavas, pomegranates, and more stand in joyful rows, offering shade, scent, and the promise of juicy abundance. Our orchard shows, quite literally, the fruit of our labor. Each tree is a storybook, providing fresh produce for the farm stand, ingredients for homemade pies, and inspiration for our seasonal storytelling. It shades the gardens, attracts pollinators, and helps shape the biodiversity that keeps our farm thriving. We also have a citrus grove, featuring oranges, lemons, grapefruits, and more.
At Rose Press Farm, our berries and vines are part of what makes the landscape feel full of life. We grow blackberries, boysenberries, and raspberries along fence lines and pathways—they're easy to pick and bring a pop of color in summer. We grow a variety of blueberries, a Pink Lemonade Berry, which is hot pink when it is ripe, along with other traditional blueberries. Passionfruit vines climb through the greenhouse, adding a unique tropical touch with their bold flowers and sweet fruit. Grapevines grow near the orchard, producing clusters of grapes. Varieties of our seedless grapes include Black Monukka, Thompson Green, Red Flame, and Princess grapes. These fruits help connect different parts of the farm — from the wild edges to the cultivated spaces—and add variety to what we grow and share.
Rose Press Farm includes an apiary, home to Kona Queen bees known for their strength and productivity. These bees play a key role in pollinating our crops — fruit trees, vegetables, and flowers — helping the whole farm thrive. We harvest their honey in small batches to enjoy ourselves and sell to our community. Their hard work supports healthy harvests and makes Rose Press Farm more sustainable, sweet, and full of life.
One acre of Rose Press Farm is now dedicated to creating a vibrant Monarch Butterfly and Western Native Pollinators Habitat as part of our ongoing commitment to nurturing biodiversity. This special space will be planted with native milkweed and nectar-rich wildflowers to support the lifecycle of monarchs, bees, and other essential pollinators. By cultivating a healthy habitat for these threatened species, we're helping restore ecological balance, enhance pollination across the farm, and protect the rhythms of nature that sustain both our crops and our community. It’s a small corner of the farm with a big role in helping to ensure that at Rose Press Farm, we are good stewards of God's creation.
Our fluffy Rough Collie, a little chunky and full of heart, trails us through every task—her quiet presence making work feel like home. She gently bosses Fern, watches over the ducks, and reminds us daily that devotion is its own kind of farm magic ♡
Petite, demure, and just a little bossy, Fern is a Rough Collie with a sweet spirit and a love for belly rubs. She quietly oversees the rosebushes and greenhouse, helping the farm stay calm, connected, and full of love ♡
White-feathered, loud voiced, and utterly unbothered, the ducks are the farm’s unruly choir. They waddle through the greenhouse and along dirt paths with curious grace, sprinkling laughter and muddy footprints in equal measure, fertilizing the soil, and keeping the insect population in check ♡
